In January 2006, VNPT officially became the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, replacing the old Corporation model according to Decision No. 06/2006/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, with a development strategy following the model of Vietnam’s leading economic group, operating in multiple industries, multiple fields, and multiple ownerships, in which Posts – Telecommunications – IT is the core.
